The War Memorial Library in Hudson is a non-profit registered charity providing a subscription library of printed and digital materials, primarily in the English language, to the residents of Hudson, Quebec and surrounding communities.Operated by volunteers, the Library is self-financing through membership fees, donations and fund raising activities. The Library in turn donates, to local charities, funds in excess of its own needs.The building and the Library serve as a memorial to those in Hudson who served in the Canadian Armed Forces.

Espace Livres - A Literary Salon

In collaboration with the book club The Bouquineuses and the artistic group Arts Pontes, MUSO invites you to ESPACE LIVRES its first edition of a literary salon focused on authors of the Haut-Saint-Laurent Valley region. This event takes place on Saturday, November 30 from noon until 8 pm and Sunday, December 1 from 11 am to 5 pm. You are invited to reserve a place from which to present and sell your works to visitors.
An author, to be eligible, is originally from or resides in the region and has had at least one work published. All types of writing are welcome. You must furnish your own publicity and promotional material.
